The Rotary Club of Sarnia's tradition of service dates back to 1927. Since that time, our group of local community leaders has worked continuously and selflessly to help those in need around the corner and across the globe. In the process, Sarnia Rotarians have brought a little magic into the lives of thousands of individuals and families.
Today, the Rotary Club of Sarnia is supported by the activities of our members. We encompass a wide range of professions and are active in leading local businesses and community organizations. Continuing to live our motto, "Service Above Self," local Rotarians maintain an active annual program focusing on youth, community and vocation, special needs children and international relief.
Our club's popular fundraising projects, including the annual Mackinac Breakfast (July) and the Rotary Online Auction (November), enable us to contribute to several events, and to projects that increase the quality of life for the most vulnerable in our community.

Be our partner and benefit from our truly unique charitable foundation
In 1973, our club registered the Rotary Club of Sarnia Charitable Foundation with the Government of Canada as a charitable organization. Through the foundation, we offer individuals, families and companies a unique opportunity to share the ideals of  our  Rotary club and the joy of making a real difference in the lives of others.
The Rotary club of Sarnia Foundation offers donation  giving  and tax receipts to its contributors. Through generous donations and bequests to the foundation and the careful management of our investments, the Rotary Club of Sarnia has contributed well over $8 million to worthy causes.

Confident in the positive and measurable impact of our projects, we offer the firm assurance that our club's first century of service is simply an indication of the contributions yet to come. The Rotary Club of Sarnia and the Rotary Club of Sarnia Charitable Foundation continue to grow and generate lots of new ideas and projects for the good of those in need, in our local community and Internationally.
