"Virtual" 2020 Mackinac Event
 
Due to Covid-19, The Rotary Club of Sarnia 39th Annual Mackinac Pancake Breakfast
under the Bluewater Bridge cannot take place as in the past.
The Rotary Club of Sarnia is asking the residents of Sarnia Lambton
 to make a donation so our club can continue to support projects in our community such as
the retrofit of the pool at Pathways Health Centre for Children.
 
The 2020 Mackinac Event will include an online live concert featuring by one of its favourite area entertainers.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Cliff Erickson has agreed to bring his popular mix of ballads, soft rock and anthems
to town in a one-night only benefit concert hosted by the Rotary Club of Sarnia.
The performance will be online on Friday, July 10, 8-9 pm and the cost to watch the show
is an optional donation to The Rotary Club of Sarnia at

CREATIVE PANCAKE CONTEST
 
Unfortunately we won’t be serving pancakes under the bridge this year.  In the spirit of the pancakes,
we thought we would share some pancake recipes with you,
and challenge you to a create your own pancake masterpieces! 
 
We will have 2 categories:
                                     1.  Children’s category - Entries from children up to the age of 12, may be helped by an adult
                                     2.  Adult category – over the age of 12
 
Of course, we won’t be able to taste your pancakes, so they will be judged by your pictures. 
Criteria for judging will be: creativity, list of ingredients, photo plus story – if you wish
Prizes: each winner will receive a gift certificate for pancakes
Deadline:  Monday July 13 2020 12 noon
Winners will be announced on Wednesday July 15 2020 at noon
To enter:  post your picture to The Rotary Club of Sarnia Facebook page by Monday July 13th at noon, identify which category, and list of ingredients.  Please note, identify children as first name and first initial of last name.
